Those looking for a hotly-anticipated VR experience and a complete VR hardware bundle may be in luck on or after November 17th: according to Sony, not only will that date mark the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR, but the title will also be made available with a hardware bundle.
The $399.99 PlayStation VR Gran Turismo Bundle includes the PSVR headset PlayStation camera and Gran Turismo Sport on PlayStation VR. If you want to make sure you get your hands on one, pre-order your bundle starting today. If it's something we can figure out as a possibility we'll let everybody know, but right now Skyrim VR is everything that's in the base game plus all the DLC content.
Dragons have been long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, but now they have returned to Tamriel, and the future of the Empire hangs in the balance. Note that, while the game works with Move, you can also play it with DualShock 4 and we actually prefer this option as it allows for smooth movement across the game's vast open world. It is up to you, the Dragonborn, to stop them from terrorizing the land. In a way, if you already have a PS4 and you had a choice between a PS4 Pro and PSVR bundle, you're definitely getting a lot more with the VR bundle than you would with a PS4 Pro, and I'm saying this as someone who doesn't like VR very much.
The Skyrim PSVR bundle launches in the USA and Canada on the same day as the game's launch, November 17th, for $449.99 USD/$579.99 CAD. You can take a look at the packaging below.
As you probably guessed, this bundle includes the new model PSVR.
This bundle will come with the updated PS VR system featuring revised design that enables the stereo headphone cables to be integrated with the VR headset, and a slimmer, streamlined connection cable.
