Elsewhere in the 30-second promo spot, we can see shots of Kylo, Rey, and Luke separately as Supreme Leader Snoke's voice echoes in the background, as well as snippets of what could be the film's final battle in Crait.

The Last Jedi releases on December 16th. The film is the next chapter in the ongoing Skywalker saga. But that does not mean there won't be plenty of Easter eggs for fans of the greater Star Wars canon to pick up on and enjoy.
Special to this year's proceedings will be an appearance by longtime "Star Wars" actor Warwick Davis, best known for his role as Wicket the Ewok in "Return of the Jedi".
One of the biggest criticisms about the previous Star Wars canon, now dubbed Legends, is that ancillary material never connected.
It will not be the first time Disneyland has added new scenes to Star Tours to help promote a movie by Lucasfilm, which is owned by Walt Disney Co.
