Thanksgiving is nearly upon us and that means Black Friday deals will start popping up any day now. It's not yet known if these deals will also be available online.
Some of those in-store deals will be happening courtesy of Amazon, which plans to offer some discounted items in Whole Foods stores.
Having acquired Whole Foods in a deal worth $13.7bn, announced back in June, Amazon will now take advantage of the brand's numerous stores across the U.S. throughout the holiday season by rolling out seasonal pop-up shops. The ones in Davie, Florida and Pasadena, California will go up on November 14th, while the one in Denver, Colorado's new Union Station store will open on November 15th.
Amazon devices such as the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Fire TV, Kindle e-readers and Fire tablets are already offered at more than 100 Whole Foods locations. The deals include even the brand new Amazon Echo Plus.
During the announcement, though much details were not disclosed, Amazon did promise that there was still "more to come" and customers who hold Amazon Prime memberships will be getting "special savings and in-store benefits". Amazon teases that Alexa is ready to give out some Thanksgiving-themed jokes, too.
