The MRI revealed a sprained posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) in his left knee and a bone bruise.

The Jazz on Saturday morning recalled Tony Bradley from the Salt Lake City Stars to add another big man to the roster.

It's a tough break for the Jazz, and especially for Gobert, who earlier this season missed 11 games after suffering a bone bruise in his right knee.

It looked scary when Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert went down with an injury in Friday's game against the Celtics. He is expected to be re-evaluated in another "few weeks" for Utah. The good news for Jazz fans is that the team didn't completely fall off when he missed 11 games earlier this year.

Gobert has played 18 of the 29 games for Utah so far this season and will be forced to miss even more moving forward. If they can come close to that type of record during his absence, Utah should be fine.

The Jazz play at Cleveland on Saturday night.

It was a much-needed statement win over the team that ultimately won the Gordon Hayward sweepstakes, much to the dismay of several Jazz fans.

The NBA gods just haven't been kind to them this season.
