According to ESPN's Jeff Goodman, LaVar's plan is to now get LiAngelo and LaMelo on the same team overseas.

Now the new plan is far more unorthodox, as it calls for the bros to play together somewhere internationally before eventually declaring for the draft.

Agent Harrison Gaines represents all three of Ball's sons, including Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo.

LaVar's decision to hire an agent ends any chance of LaMelo (who's now ranked No. 7 nationally in ESPN's class of 2019 high school recruiting rankings) playing college basketball.

Lietkabelis likely won't be the last team to hard pass on either younger Ball brother.

I find it ironic, however, in the same sense that Trump is praised for his willingness to speak his mind - politically correct or not - and for his outspoken personality, Lavar Ball is criticized and has his parental skills questioned. When LaVar Ball publicly downplayed Trump's role in bringing the incident to a close, Trump wrote on Twitter that he "should have left them in jail".

LiAngelo was suspended by UCLA after shoplifting during a basketball trip to China, and is no longer attending classes. The NCAA forbids players from signing endorsement deals and could have intervened if LaMelo ever attempted to play for the Bruins.

Just a few days ago, the elder Ball claimed that his youngest son LaMelo would still go to UCLA after removing LiAngelo. "I just need to get them playing again". "I'm not going to say I know for a fact he couldn't defend at that level, but he has never had to do it before and his overall athletic profile doesn't bode well in the future".
