Now we've learned that the new incarnation of the show will debut with an hour-long episode on Tuesday, March 27th at 8 p.m. One week later, on Tuesday, April 3, "Roseanne" will air in its regular time period, Tuesday at 8 p.m., into relocated "The Middle" at 8:30 p.m.
Production on the highly anticipated revival's nine episodes is slated to wrap today in Studio City, California.
The complete original cast of the original show is returning for the nine-episode revival, including: Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), John Goodman (Dan), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Michael Fishman (D.J.) and Lecy Goranson (Becky).
On Friday, ABC released a teaser trailer for the return of "Roseanne" that also named the date.
Guest stars reprising their roles include Oscar victor Estelle Parsons as Beverly Harris, Sandra Bernhard as Nancy Bartlett, Natalie West as Crystal Anderson, James Pickens Jr.as Chuck Mitchell and Adilah Barnes as Anne Marie Mitchell.
The comedy about the blue-collar family pushed several boundaries during its '80s to '90s run, including a groundbreaking lesbian kiss during season 6.
