You may recall that past year, Kim Kardashian ignited a firestorm of drama between herself, husband Kanye West and Taylor Swift after Swift claimed to have disapproved of a line in West's song "Famous" that reads, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex".
West soon released the video for the song, which included a likeness of Taylor's nude body, before Kim shared audio of West and Swift's phone conversations about the track on Snapchat. It featured the naked wax figures of West, Taylor Swift, and other celebrities, as originally seen in West's video of the same name.
Kardashian used Instagram Monday to share a snap of an exhibit that was set up previous year to mimic the video, which Swift fans immediately took to be a jab at the pop star. Despite him claiming she had approved the lyric, Swift denied it.
Well, Swifities didn't take too kindly to Kim's Instagram shade and sounded the battle cry to swarm her comments with rat emojis.
"If people ask me about it, look, I think it would be great for me to be like, 'He called me and told me before it came out.joke's on you, guys".
Kardashian posted her photo from the "Famous" exhibit on the same day British Vogue unveiled its new cover featuring Swift. But even though Kimye seemed awfully quiet in the weeks since Taylor's record release, that doesn't mean that they weren't plotting and now Kim took a subtle, calculated jab back at Taylor on Instagram and the Swifties are flooding her comments with rat emojis.
"Kim lie to everyone saying Taylor Swift is a snake", user @manuflv wrote. It dates back to 2009's VMAs scandal and returned in 2016 after a lyric from West joked about having sex with Swift, infamously boasting that he "made that bitch famous".
