Boston's plan was simple: Foul quickly and send the Pacers to the free-throw line.

Tatum's team-high nine boards helped the Celtics gain a 42-38 advantage on the glass one game after they were outrebounded 55-31 in a loss to Utah.

Maybe the only thing more improbable than the late-game rally by the Boston Celtics to steal a win from the Indiana Pacers on Monday night was what happened immediately after it.

Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier (12) steals the ball and dunks the ball with under two seconds to go in the 4th quarter against Indiana Pacers forward Bojan Bogdanovic (44) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

With 4.3 seconds left, Bogdanovic, who would have nearly certainly been fouled had he simply held onto the ball, threw a high pass intended for Victor Oladipo near midcourt but Rozier intercepted it and had an open court to his game-winning slam.

Early on it looked Boston might run away with this one as the Celtics wasted little time Monday night showing why they have the best record in the Eastern Conference. Losers of three of five after a 22-4 start and trailing by two points to the Grizzlies entering the fourth quarter on Saturday, the Celtics scored 16 straight points to begin the period and rolled to a 102-93 victory. Victor Oladipo's breakout campaign continued with 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting and seven rebounds as IN improved to 12-7 against the Eastern Conference. They led by five points with under 30 seconds to play and by four with under 15 seconds left.

"That was one hell of a of a game to be a part of", Irving said.

Thunder 95, Nuggets 94: Russell Westbrook scored 16 of his season-high 38 points in the fourth quarter, including the tie-breaking free throw with 2.3 seconds left, to lift host Oklahoma City.

Over the last couple of seasons, a number of Boston Celtics players have pointed out Terry Rozier's reluctance to dunk on fast breaks. The win was Boston's eighth in 11 games.

James Harden added 26 points, Clint Capela had 24 points and 20 rebounds and Gordon finished with a season-high seven three-pointers.

Horford then hit a corner 3-pointer, and 49 seconds later, Rozier drove to answer a Domantas Sabonis hoop.

Jimmy Butler powered through a recent bout of back spasms to score 37 points in the Minnesota Timberwolves' 108-107 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.
