Two University of Georgia football players were arrested late Saturday night in Barrow County. He was in a vehicle with fellow teammate and receiver Jayson Stanley.

Stanley was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and speeding- going 87-mph in a 65-mph zone.

Patrick has now been arrested three times, which means he likely will be kicked off the Georgia team.

Smith said Patrick paid a "small fine" and has since been released.

It's the third arrest for Patrick, the team's starting middle linebacker, in his Georgia career.

A little over five hours after that game, one starter on that team would find himself in the back of a squad auto.

Patrick was arrested in October for alleged marijuana possession in Athens-Clarke County. He logged three tackles and a quarterback hurry in Georgia's 28-7 win Saturday against the Tigers to claim the SEC crown and the No. 3 seed in the final CFP rankings. Patrick played in a combined 21 games in 2015 and 2016, including 11 starts, and totaled 81 tackles.
