Idea Cellular’s Revised Tariff Plans

Telecom operator Reliance Jio will cut tariffs by Rs. 50 in all its monthly schemes under which customers get 1 GB data a day. Both of them are unlimited plans for the prepaid customers.

Reliance Jio Rs 299 prepaid recharge plan:Jio's Rs 299 prepaid recharge plan offers unlimited and free high speed data of 56GBs for a period of 28 days. The first one on the chopping block is Jio's Rs 199 tariff which will now go for just Rs 149. Under the plan, Jio will offer 84GB of data for 84 days. More data-intensive users can cast their eyes to the new Rs 349 pack which offers 70GB of data over the course of 70 days.

Airtel has increased the validity of its Rs. 448 and Rs. 509 plans and Idea has increased the validity of its Rs. 449 and Rs. 509 plans. What Jio has basically done is - it has revamped its existing Rs 198, Rs 398, Rs 448 and Rs 498 plans to offer 50 per cent more data at the same price. The plan is valid for 28 days. These plans now offer 1GB of data per day, but after the revision, it will offer 1.5GB of data daily at the same price.

Jio has also reduced the 1 GB data rate to Rs. 4 for a 1-day validity plan. People simply couldn't get enough of the free 4G data offering for an extended period of time, which eventually lasted six long months. The plan also gives free and unlimited SMS benefits, said Jio website. Moreover, the company has also chose to increase the usual data of 1GB to 1.5GB, which is surely going to appeal to many people for whom the data limit is not enough and who like to use it for downloading purposes. After the revision, consumers will get 126GB data with a daily FUP limit of 1.5GB of data for the same duration of 84 days. The new offer puts FUP of 1GB daily.

Apart from the change in the data part, other benefits will remain the same.

Both of the plans offer unlimited local and STD voice calls along with roaming calls.
