Google Pay definitely sounds better as a way to unite the company's payment solutions.

Google has announced that it is collating all its payment systems, primarily Google Wallet and Android Pay, under one brand called Google Pay.

It wouldn't be surprising to anticipate that, in the future, consumers might be use Google Pay to purchase tickets ofter watching a movie trailer on YouTube.

The rebranding effort is already underway, with some existing users already witnessing the Google Pay rebranding at several locations. Those include Airbnb, Dice, Fandango, HungryHouse and Instacart.
