Michael Douglas accuser speaks out

Braudy alleged that, during her employment under Douglas, she was subjected to profane and sexually charged language and demeaning comments about her appearance that culminated in the actor masturbating in front of her.

A woman has come forward to accuse Michael Douglas of masturbating in front of her while she worked for him in the '80s. I realized to my horror that he was rubbing his private parts. "Within seconds his voice cracked and it appeared to me he'd had an orgasm", Braudy's written account alleges.

During that meeting, Braudy says Douglas masturbated in front of her.

But Douglas himself was the first to bring Braudy's story forward when he spoke to Deadline via phone in for article titled "Michael Douglas Gets Out Front Of Potential Harassment Story To Preemptively Deny Sordid Accusation" published last week. "He also referred to the 1989 incident as "a complete lie, fabrication, no truth to it whatsoever".

"I'm bewildered why, after 32 years, this is coming out, now".

Catherine Zeta-Jones, Douglas' wife, has also spoken out, saying she supports her husband the the #MeToo movement.

She added: 'There was no other way than to be preemptive in a story that had to be watched.

"I made sure that I was never ever ever alone with him again", Braudy added, according to NBC News.

"I knew something was off but had no name for it", Braudy also wrote in documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter. She says that Douglas chased her to the elevator while zipping his trousers and telling her, "Hey, thank you, you're good".

Susan Braudy, a journalist and author who worked for Douglas's Stonebridge Productions in the late eighties, kept detailed notes and files from the time.

According to Braudy, Douglas was not in NY that often but when he was, he always emitted sexual aggression, and would often discuss affairs he had with co-star Kathleen Turner of Romancing the Stone and an unnamed European heiress.

After the incident, Braudy says she told a few friends who warned her about speaking out against the Hollywood actot. In the late "80s, Braudy was hired to manage the NY office of Douglas" production company, Stonebridge Productions.

Braudy said that she was so horrified that she ran out of the meeting back to her apartment.

He regularly commented on her body, which prompted her to start wearing long, loose layers of black. Then, Braudy claims she immediately closed her notebook and headed for the door. "It's inappropriate.' This made him laugh until he got pink splotches on his cheeks".

"I was surprised I wasn't falling to pieces even though I was humiliated", she continues. "So I thought it stunk". Michael ran barefoot after me to the elevator, zipping his fly and buckling his belt. "You helped me, thank you, thank you". I fired her eventually, for the work she was doing, but Three, she claims that I blackballed her from the industry and stopped her form getting another job. I never blackballed her.

Fire and Fury author Michael Wolff gave a statement to The Hollywood Reporter saying, "We have discussed the incident many, many times since, as well as Douglas' relentless, goading, mocking and belittling sexual behaviour".
