This is the new Acer Chromebook 11

After Lenovo, HP has announced that it will be showcasing new affordable Chromebooks at CES 2018 next week.

The Chromebook 14 G5, as the name suggests, has a 14-inch screen size that is configurable with up to HD Touch feature.

Powered by the latest 7th-generation Intel Celeron chipsets, both the devices ship with USB Type-C ports, and share a similar design as well.

The Chromebook 11 is outfitted with an 11.6-inch display that features a surprisingly low 1366×768 resolution, as well as options for touch and non-touch displays. The laptop itself feels pretty snappy, especially considering its unnamed Celeron CPU and 4GB of RAM. Like all newly released Chromebooks, the Acer CB311 will come with Android Apps out of the box so you can get your Candy Crush on with no delay. One is a touch display version and other is non-touch display version. The Chromebook 11 also includes two USB 3.0 ports and Bluetooth 4.2. It is ideal for connecting peripherals, charging phones and other mobile devices and has two USB 3.1 Type C ports. The official announcement states it comes in at 0.71 inches thin and only 2.43 pounds.

The outside of the Acer Chromebook 11 is definitely a looker. "The model numbers for these new devices are CB311-8HT and CB311-8H and they both offer up an 11.6" display. An included microSD card slot can be used as extra storage space or transfer files and content. The pricing will start at $249. Google's still working on making these apps more Chromebook-friendly, but their simple availability has increased the usefulness of Chromebooks beyond education and basic web browsing.

Exact specifications and available will vary depending on your region, as will prices. The laptop is priced at $249 around ₹15,700 for the base model and we are available in stores starting March. As Acer looks into the future, it is focused on enabling a world where hardware, software and services will fuse with one another to open up new possibilities for consumers and businesses alike.
