Following Chelsea's goalless draw in the FA Cup third round at Norwich, Conte took the opportunity to respond to suggestions from Mourinho that he had been involved in match-fixing.

Conte is expected to field a strong side for Wednesday's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg clash with Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. Conte did concede that his issues with Mourinho stop short of hatred between the two.

Conte responded: "Before you make these kinds of comments you must pay great attention because you show you are a little man".

5th January 2018: Conte reacts to Mourinho assertion that he did not need to act like a "clown" in his technical area saying: "I think he has to see himself in the past - maybe he was speaking about himself in the past".

Conte said: "I think if Arsene Wenger watched the game again, (he would) understand he was very lucky during the game with the referee's decisions".

Chelsea next face Manchester United in the English Premier League at Old Trafford on the 25th February.

Conte and Mourinho's feud intensified further on Saturday. "Not me", the United boss replied.

"I swear, as captain of the football club, I was there thinking: 'Why has he not spoken to me?' I said to the physio: 'I'm training tomorrow".

Terry added: "From the moment Jose came in, I knew I wanted to be a coach".

Mourinho escalated the war of words with Conte by claiming he would never be "suspended for match-fixing" in a clear reference to the ex-Italy boss' four-month ban.

He was acquitted of any wrongdoing over the matter in 2016, shortly before taking over at Chelsea and Mourinho's revisiting of the matter irked the Blues boss. I consider him a little man, a man with a very low profile.

"You can change the story, but you have to know the story very well before hurting another person".

Conte added of the Portuguese: "There is a person that continues to look here". "Then when Ranieri was sacked he put on a shirt for Ranieri". You are a fake. "If you try to speak and then keep the situation general you must have a big personality, big balls, to tell this".

Conte has made regular fixture complaints and he did not welcome the prospect of a replay, when Canaries boss Daniel Farke hopes to shock the Blues. In the last period he's suffering a bit of amnesia. Were we the best in the world? "We will try everything".
