The Apple Post reported on Monday that clues are pointing to Apple hosting its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) between Monday June 4th and Friday June 8th at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, the same venue used previous year for WWDC 2017. For instance, it is likely that the new iPhone SE 2 will rock a 4.2-inch display, a marked upgrade from the 4-inch display that we saw and liked on the original iPhone SE. The phone won't look like iPhone X, meaning it would still have bezels at the top and bottom of the screen.
The iPhone SE, which was launched in March 2016, is now becoming a little old in the tooth - and fans of small screen iPhones are getting a bit antsy.
The next iPhone SE 2 would be affordable but very less modified as compared to iPhone X and iPhone 8, with the only 0.2-inch larger screen than before might be not favorable from user's side. Sadly, this piece of information happens to be true as it came directly from one of China's KGI security analyst. The company now assembles iPhone SE smartphones in India in the Bengaluru's industrial hub of Peenya. In fact, iPhone SE is the only Apple smartphone whose prices didn't go up after after the government increased import duty on mobile phones to 20% from 15% in the Union Budget earlier this month. Sporting a RAM speed of 2GB, the handset is also said to maintain the fingerprint sensor-equipped Touch ID home button.
The other two models will be the iPhone Xs which will feature a 5.8-inch OLED display along with a much bigger variant named iPhone Xs Plus with a 6.5-inch OLED display. It's the same venue where the 2017 edition of WWDC was held.
The Apple iPhone SE2 is rumored to get launched at WWDC 2018 this year and the event will reportedly take place in the month of June. The iOS 12 will be released to the public in September along with the iPhone X2, iPhone X Plus, and the LCD iPhone.
