CAPCOM announced earlier today that Monster Hunter World has shipped six million units so far. See below for more information on how the fix might affect you.

Monster Hunter: World introduces a living, breathing ecosystem in which players take on the role of a hunter that seeks and slays ferocious beasts in heart-pounding battles that unfold across the vast ever-changing terrain. Unfortunately, Capcom says that players who created a Squad and were affected by this will have lost any Squad data. Capcom also made some changes to the Light and Heavy Bowguns, increasing the power of some basic ammo while decreasing the power of the slicing ammo. Additionally, Capcom has dealt with a bug that allowed non-Squad members to join a Squad session without an invite, as well as one where Squad members were unable to do so.

Fixed an issue where some players could not claim the item pack "5 Million Celebration Item Pack".

Normal Ammo, Pierce Ammo and all elemental ammo have their power changed. Players can still use any remaining extra Slashberries if they now have more than 30 in their item pouch. Players can still use any remaining extra Slashberries if they now have more than 30 in their item pouch. The update also contains a lot of bug fixes.

Elderseal calculation for dragon pods has also been readjusted, Endemic Life will no longer disappear from the Wildlife Map when moving around, and bugs with the Flying Sparks: Tobi-Kadachi mission and other minor or rare bugs have been fixed.

Regarding the Xbox One Matchmaking, they have apologized for the inconvenience and that they are working on it tirelessly.

Another solution, according to Capcom that found out what other players have tried to do, is to set the NAT connection settings to "Open" on the Xbox One.

If you can not connect to other hunters through the "Matchmake" option, "you may still be able to create online lobbies, join others" lobbies via "Filter Search", "Invite a Friend", connect via Xbox One LFG, or join hunts by using the "Respond to SOS" feature'.
