Apple Announces Annual Developers Conference Dates

As it did past year, Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference will be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, in the second week of June - the 4 through the 8, specifically.

Apple typically uses the opening keynote of WWDC to announce software updates to the company's various platforms such as iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS.

Apple held its annual event at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from 2003 through 2016.

San Jose, CA, June 4-8 When technology connects with creativity, incredible ideas come to life. The regular price for attendees is $1,599, and Apple will notify those lucky enough to be selected for one by March 23 at 5pm PT. Anyone who enters between now and March 22nd at 1PM ET will be entered in a lottery to be eligible for tickets, a system Apple has developed to cope with demand for its conference. At last year's WWDC, Apple showed off upgraded iPads, the HomePod speaker, new Macs, and software-based enhancements for iPhones and Macs. As always, you'll need to be a pre-existing member of the Apple Developer Program or the Apple Developer Enterprise Program to participate.

Apple says that the company is also providing "up to" 350 free tickets through its WWDC student scholarship program.

Apple today announced its next developer conference scheduled for this June.
