And while there has been talk of peace in the past, a new episode of American Idol has some on social media speculating that the feud is far from over.

The Firework singer reignited their feud when during auditions, fellow judge Luke Bryan asked one of the hopefuls who he looked up to as an artist. The musician, apparently knowing about the Swift-Perry beef, responds, "I'm sorry for this, Katy: Taylor Swift".

"Oh, you don't have to be sorry", Perry said. "I love her as a songwriter as.as well".

Viewers were quick to pick up on the comment, and some interpreted the remark as a potential diss in Taylor's direction.

Katy is one of the new judges on the present series of "American Idol", with the audition stage now airing in the USA on Sunday nights. She then gave the SHADIEST look because saying that she loves Swift as a songwriter and nothing else wasn't shady enough.

This past year Perry released "Swish Swish" which fans think is about Swift.

"She did something so terrible", Swift told Rolling Stone.

"I wish that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I'm also not a pushover, you know?" She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. "You got me", and then proceeded to sing his famous hit song "Hello". Perry seemed flustered, though she did keep things cordial. Last year, Perry reportedly brought up the drama with Swift while promoting her Witness album.

"I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy!"
