With sharpshooter Kyle Korver calling for the ball, LeBron looked at his marksman, causing three Lakers to rush to the perimeter.

Denver was able to hold the Lakers sole star, Isiah Thomas to a measly 10 points, but allowed Brook Lopez to torch them for a total of 29 points.

Millsap's night was overshadowed by Murray, who finished with 22 points and drew the ire of the Lakers for the second time this season. LeBron James led the team with 25 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, Jordan Clarkson added 21 points off the bench while Larry Nance Jr chipped in with 16 points and 12 rebounds in place of the injured Tristan Thompson.

Nuggets coach Mike Malone admitted he did not see what prompted Walton's postgame reaction, but told reporters he would watch the film and talk to Murray if Walton's concerns were validated.

"I felt like for the second time we played here, Murray was being a little disrespectful at the end of the game", Walton said, per ESPN.

Ball referenced a play during their last meeting in December where Murray dribbled around him at the end of the game, calling it a "punk move". They've blown second-half leads in each of their last three losses, including 19-point edge against the Clippers last week.

At 33 years old, LeBron James continues to assert his dominance on the rest of the lead, ranking fourth in the National Basketball Association in scoring and second in assists. The Lakers' Over/Under lines have averaged 222.3 in the past two weeks and their games have resulted in an Over/Under average of 4.4. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope got one hard foul in on Murray, sending him into the stands.

"They're losing, fourth quarter, it's a tight game", Murray said. "Ref didn't call nothing so let's play on".

Injury Report Lakers: Brandon Ingram (left groin strain), Josh Hart (left hand fourth metacarpal fracture) and Channing Frye (appendectomy) are out.

"Jamal is a young player who has to continue to mature", Malone said.

"Everybody is talking playoff, playoff, playoff", center Nikola Jokic said after Wednesday's 113-108 loss to the Cavaliers.

"I can't control what the other team's gonna feel", Murray said. "That says a lot about that guy".
