Al-Khelaifi also refuted suggestions that the Ligue 1 leaders would lose their biggest star.

The rumours around a potential Neymar move to Real Madrid are in overdrive, but a LaLiga expert has now given his prediction as to if and when the transfer could happen.

When asked about Neymar's timescale for an injury comeback, Al-Khelaifi said: "I'm sure he will return soon".

Brazilian midfielder, Philippe Coutinho, has admitted he would love Neymar to come back to Barcelona, despite the forward joining PSG for £198m last summer.

"I am thinking as Rakitic does, I would like to have here the best players and Neymar is one of them", Coutinho said, as quoted by Four Four Two. "He's a player with a lot of personality and we have spoken to him about it", added Emery, whose side were reduced to 10 men whilst trying to overturn a deficit against Real Madrid. Al-Khelaifi travelled to Brazil on Monday to visit Neymar, who is recovering from an operation to the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, and attempted to convince him not to move to Real Madrid this summer.

"Neymar is happy, highly motivated and excited to be getting back as soon as possible".

"I am playing alongside him with Brazil and it's a privilege".

The Spanish press claim PSG officials want to officially valuate Nemyar's condition following surgery and to quell any concerns over his long-term future at the Parc des Princes. The Brazil worldwide underwent surgery in his homeland and now faces race against time to get fit ahead of the World Cup in Russian Federation this summer.
