Apple offering free battery replacement for old MacBook Pros

(NASDAQ:AAPL) announced a new worldwide battery replacement program, that do not have a Touch Bar. The affected models were manufactured over a 12-month span between October 2016 and October 2017, which means quite a number of units could be eligible for a replacement.

"Apple has determined that, in a limited number of 13-inch MacBook Pro (non-Touch Bar) units, a component may fail to cause the built-in battery to expand". The company has set up a website where users can determine if their MacBook Pro will qualify for the free replacement battery. (AAPL) will replace all eligible batteries. Company gross margins represents its total sales revenue minus its cost of goods sold (COGS), divided by the total sales revenue earned by the company, expressed as a percentage.
