Here's a clear look at the upcoming Moto G6 series

The page, which has now been removed, listed the handsets along with their specifications, price and availability. The G6 Play was available for pre-order at $199.99 with an estimated ship date of May 17th.

The word on the street is that Moto G6 series will be released first in India, Brazil and other emerging markets and later to developed regions such as Europe and America. There is also a difference in the processor department with the standard model powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, compared to the Play version which draws on the help of a Snapdragon 427 SoC. We will actually be talking about a trio: Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play, with details below!

It has 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash. On the inside, you can get up to 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

There is a dual camera on the back, too, with 12MP+12MP sensors and a 16MP front camera. The Moto G6, much like the most of the new Motorola phones will run near stock Android out-of-the-box. Its remaining features include single-SIM/dual-SIM variants, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS and 3,200mAh battery with Turbo charging.

Moto G6 Plus should have a Full HD+ screen, a Snapdragon 630 processor, a $265 price tag and 5.93 inch resolution.

The "rapid-focus" 13MP rear-facing camera is highlighted along with a 5MP selfie camera.

In the third image, Moto G6 Plus is shown to have special camera feature that allows the user to change the background of the photo while keeping the subject in the same place. We can expect the Moto G6 Play to come with the same camera features as discussed for the Moto G6 like - face filters, landmark recognition, object recognition, text scanning, and active photos.

The Z3 Play will come in two storage variants: 4GB of RAM with 32GB of storage, or 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage. This contradicts with the previous reports suggesting that the Moto G6 and G6 Plus will have a front-facing fingerprint sensor while the G6 Play might have one at its rear. Given the almost identical chassis, a battery with capacity around the Z2 Play's 3,000mAh is a reasonable expectation. The shipping of this phone is expected to be around mid-May.
