The Los Angeles District Attorney is reviewing a sexual assault case against Kevin Spacey, the embattled actor accused of sexual misconduct by at least 15 young men and boys across the US and England, the Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Wednesday.

The investigation was referred to prosecutors April 5 by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.
Spacey (58) became embroiled in controversy previous year when actor Anthony Rapp accused him of trying to seduce him in 1986 when Rapp was 14.
The Oscar-winning actor lost his job as the star of Netflix' House of Cards not long after the first allegation surfaced against him last October, and was then replaced by Christopher Plummer in All the Money in the World. Another man, Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos, said on Facebook that when Spacey was the artistic director at the Old Vic Theatre in London between 2004 and 2015, it was known that Spacey preyed on young male actors. Heather Unruh, mother to the victim and a former Boston news anchor, said Spacey bought her son several drinks and "stuck his hand inside my son's trousers and grabbed his genitals". "I want to see Kevin Spacey have the hand of justice come down on him, not just for my son, but for the many others who have yet to speak their truth".
Last October, Spacey said he does not remember the encounter, but publicly apologized regardless.
"I want to see Kevin Spacey go to jail", Unruh told the New York Daily News.
The former House of Cards actor has been accused by more than 30 men of unwanted sexual advances. He is one of the most prominent Hollywood celebrities to be accused of sexual misconduct following film producer Harvey Weinstein's downfall after several prominent actresses said he assaulted them, launching the #MeToo movement.
