He was pursued by Rhode Island police and arrested in CT, where he is due to be arraigned tomorrow.

Bruce was reportedly trying to impress Taylor and told police he wanted to propose to her.

Rowley was charged with robbing an Ansonia bank on April 4 and held on $100,000 (£70,400) bond at his arraignment on Friday.

The robber told police that he had driven to Taylor Swift's vacation home and that he threw the money over the fence. He allegedly drove 90 minutes to Taylor Swift's sprawling $17 million waterfront mansion in Rhode Island.

He said he threw some of the stolen money over her fence and tried to contact her, but she wasn't home.

On April 5, 2018 Bruce Rowley, age 26, of Chapel Street in Derby was arrested by warrant for Robbery Second Degree and Larceny Fourth Degree. Police said the money Rowley claimed to have hurled over the fence has not been recovered.

"While being taken into custody a Rhode Island State Police K9 bit Rowley in the arm", Ansonia police said.

Eventually, CT state troopers were able to stop Rowley's vehicle at exit 89 where he was then taken into custody. He was arraigned yesterday in a Los Angeles court and faces a maximum sentence of six months in county jail for his crime. The dye pack exploded in the parking lot just like it did in another bank robbery.
