Will the OnePlus 6 compete with those cameras? Once that was put out, we were told that the smartphone will sport the flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in its most expensive variant. Of course whether or not this information is accurate remains to be seen, but assuming that it is, the price increment is about $20 or so which is similar to what we saw in the previous handset's release. As OnePlus co-founders Carl Pei and Pete Lau have stated, the company is aiming for maximum screen real estate, and by implementing the notch, the space around it can be used for notification icons. First, it was documentation, then it was news about the notch, after which came the pricing details and now its a confirmation of the colour options that the OnePlus 6 will be available in. The image of the OnePlus 6 features the DxOMark logo, suggesting a review of the smartphone is already in the works. The renders show the phone equipped with a glass back, which is different from previously leaked images of the phone.
Separate renders from another source revealed the OnePlus 6 to be available in three new colour combinations- Blue, White and Black.
The image shows the iPhone X-like notch display. This year, OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphones.
Not just that, the OnePlus 6 is now expected to come with a red-tinted alert slider which looks a lot the power button on the Pixel 2.
Last week a brief teaser popped up on one of OnePlus' social channels which seemingly confirmed that the company was working on some tie-in to Marvel's upcoming film, Avengers: Infinity War. The cameras are aligned vertically. And on the battery front, the OnePlus 6 one-ups the OnePlus 5T, as it comes with a 3450mAh cell (the 5T's battery had a capacity of 3300mAh). The same thing will happen to this OnePlus 6 Avengers: Infinity War Special Edition. A global release would mean the OnePlus 6 would soon hit the Indian market as well. But, we can expect the phone to launch around late April or sometime around May.
