The letter, posted on Twitter on Tuesday, also reveals a unique strategy Marvel is employing to market the film. Directing duo the Russo Brothers previously used the ALEXA IMAX 65mm camera to shoot the incredible airport fight in Captain America: Civil War, so prepare your eyeballs for maximum overdrive if you're catching Infinity War in large-format.
Movbi, a newly introduced original character by Hot Toys who sits on a stylish red seat to watch his favorite movie (approximately 12cm tall), will be wearing a pair of Avengers: Infinity War glasses and comes together in an exclusive box set that features a shiny metallic color masked Iron Man cosbaby (approximately 9.5cm tall). Everyone involved with the film has worked incredibly hard for the past two years maintaining the highest level of secrecy.
Marvel and Disney work overtime to maintain secrecy of the plot by carefully guarding shoots, and the statement by Joe and Anthony Russo makes to clear that the complete movie will not be specially screened in advance, and only select portions will be shown during the promotions. They also appealed to fans to not spoil the movie for others even after the film hits theaters.
As the cast and crew of Infinity War begin their global, multi-city press tour, the Russos are attempting to combat spoilers by asking those lucky enough to attend early screenings to not ruin the film for others by leaking unwarranted story details online.
Good luck and happy viewing.
