Swift chose to record a folksy, banjo-filled rendition of "September" and changed the song's opening lyric from "Do you remember the 21st night of September?" to "Do you remember the 28th night of September?".
First up, Swift recorded an acoustic version of her single "Delicate", which is as pretty and straightforward as you'd expect. Others are covering their ears and refusing to hear Swift's tarnished version of "September". "People who are mad at Taylor Swift for changing the genre of September are the same people who think I Will Always Love You is an original Whitney Houston song", one user tweeted. And much to Swifties' surprise and delight, the new songs prove Old Taylor is still very much alive and kickin'.
