Average high temperatures are in the mid-50s and we may get there by Wednesday.
MONDAY INTO TUESDAY FORECAST DETAILS: Clouds will bring rain and drizzle chances near 60% Monday, 60% Monday night, and 40% Tuesday. However, it's not just the mid-April sunshine helping to boost those midweek temperatures.the WINDS are back in full force too.
I'm still looking for the stretch of warm, sunny days that we usually enjoy this time of year.
Thanks to high pressure, tomorrow will be a very nice day with a mostly sunny sky.
Clouds and showers to start the work week... This is the show all about weather featuring many familiar voices, including meteorologists at ABC 33/40.
The National Weather Service said the northern part of the state, including the Hartford area, will see scattered snow showers before 9 a.m. Tuesday and, after that, will likely see rain. Temperatures will remain on the cool side, with highs in the mid-50s for Saturday and Sunday.
A few isolated rain and snow showers will be possible to start the work day on Monday.
Dry weather greets us in the morning. Temperatures will be a tad bit warmer than yesterday with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Lows will be in the 20s so be careful as a couple of wet spots could freeze.
The pattern will undergo a significant shift after that as a trough develops across the Western U.S. Wednesday into Thursday. Cooler winds in the morning will allow for upper 40s for lows with highs expected to climb to the lower to mid 70s under a mainly sunny sky.
While that two-day reprieve from the cold will be a welcome feeling, there's still a chance for more snow on Friday as a system moves into the region. Behind the warm front it will be even warmer for Friday and Saturday with highs in the 70s along with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Possibility of an isolated rain shower especially north but most of central IN stays dry for the day.
