HMD Global has today launched its new smartphone at a launch event in Beijing, China. There is also a notch on the display, which is the reason why the smartphone has a taller aspect ratio. It points out that Nokia X6 is likely to be a China exclusive. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back which has a glossy finish thanks to an all-glass design.
The Nokia X6 has a 5.8 inch TFT display with a 2280 x 1080 px resolution. The modern 19:9 display has a whopping 95% screen-to-body ratio and is protected under Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The octa-core processor is paired with either of 6GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options along with microSD card expansion.
The back panel also houses a dual-camera setup consisting of a standard 16MP unit with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP monochrome sensor with f/2.2 lens.
The smartphone is juiced up by a 3060mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 that can charge the device from 0 to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
