For reference, here are the two shots from this morning with the screen showing the phone has a Snapdragon 845, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
Earlier this week, some live images of a Google Pixel 3 XL prototype leaked from XDA-Developers Senior Member meraz9000. While this looks like a legitimate prototype, it in no way means that the Pixel 3 XL will look the same commercially. Crosshatch is the 3 XL (confirmed by the bootloader screen we saw in the leaked images) while blueline must be the smaller Pixel 3. A simple glass back could make wireless charging possible but also make the phone more fragile to damage.
Having a glass black could allow Google to add wireless charging to its Pixel 3 lineup, which the company has so far omitted in its flagship Pixel smartphones. Google Pixel 3 internally bears the codename "Blueline", according to a Droid Life report. The front of the prototype seen below showcases a large notch on the top of the device.
Google Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 will stick with a single rear camera lens.
The side shots don't show much of the phone, but the edges are shiny instead of matte like the Pixel 2.
The Pixel 3 XL will not come with a 3.5mm headset jack either, which is something we saw on the Pixel 2 series. However, only the Pixel 3 XL has surfaced and these photos are of a prototype. Last year's Google Pixel 2 received plenty of acclaim, even if they ... He claims that when he squeezed the phones frame, it vibrated which clearly indicates the presence of the Active Edge feature. The latest images come from XDA Forum and frankly, the device disappoints in terms of design. Relative to their predecessors, the Pixel 3 has an increase of 0.3-inches while the XL will have an increase of 0.2-inches. Google is also said to be working on a third mid-segment Pixel smartphone, which is codenamed "Bonito".
