To celebrate the occasion, the company has announced the arrival of a new feature that music lovers and the social media enthusiasts around the world are bound to appreciate.
The selected song would also come with fast-forward and rewind options for users to choose the exact part of the song that fits their story. You can search for a specific song or artist, or browse by genre, mood, and what's popular.
Music in Instagram Stories is now available in select countries.

Starting today, Instagram will let you add music to your Stories. The new addition will allow people to add musical clips to the type of content they are already sharing in their stories. When opening the camera, swipe to the new "Music" option under the record button. Here, they can find a song, scroll through it find the desired section of the song that they wish to use, and then capture something for their Story.
Song titles, artists, and album art will appear on any story that has music added to it. This functionality should make it to Android soon.
For the first time, you'll finally be able to further liven up your Stories by soundtracking uploads with your favorite tunes.
The feature is now available only in a few selected countries and Instagram is working towards launching the feature in more countries.
