Millie Bobby Brown deletes Twitter account over homophobic memes

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has deleted her Twitter account after becoming a subject of homophobic memes.

'Another milestone in my life, I've never actually broken a bone, ' she said in the clip. In the video she's on crutches and wearing a knee brace.

"I think my love language is quality time, so when we can sit down and just be together and spend time together, just me and him", Pratt told ET's Carly Steele at the MTV Movie & TV Awards in Santa Monica, California, on Saturday.

Stranger Things is up for five other awards - Best Show, Best Performance in a Show for Millie, Best Kiss for Finn and Millie, Most Frightened Performance for Noah, and Best On-Screen Team for the kids. I love them so dearly and I wish them the best, and I'm sending my luck with you.

The MTV Movie & TV Awards air on MTV Monday, June 18, at 8 p.m. ET. "I'll be there in spirit!"

The star recently deleted her Twitter account after she unwittingly became a homophobic meme. According to TheWrap, the tag first appeared in November but resurfaced in June to coincide with Pride Month.

Last year, Brown took home the award for Best Actor in a Show.

Other social media users expressed support for Brown, who remains active on Instagram.
