The game didn't make any real appearance at Electronic Arts' pre-E3 EA Play showcase, but Respawn boss Vince Zampella shared a few details. The game will take place between Episodes 3 and 4 during the fall of the Jedi Order following the events of Order 66. It also brings up the possibility of an actual Star Wars canon story to go along with it - oh what fun!
Respawn Entertainment teased its Star Wars game today during EA Play 2018 at E3. He also revealed that players would assume the role of a Jedi. But considering that the Clone Wars expansion is confirmed for Battlefront II later this year, that gives the team just enough time to give this game the push it needs.
Titanfall developer Respawn has been developing a Star Wars game for EA for several years now but for a while, it's been quite vague what the game really was. Respawn CEO Vince Zampella says it will be "spectacular".
While there was no footage, Zampella was able to disclose some light details on the game. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is targeting a "holiday 2019" release. "And we, like you all, have no shortage of Star Wars passion". Their obsession with making games that feel fantastic has helped make Titanfall one of the most successful new game launches of this generation.
