The opening day figures of the film was the best of the year, in terms of just Bollywood films and its day 2 and day 3 rocked India box office. The movie may have been doing great in terms of box-office collections, the highest opening of the year till now, but the film has not got any good review. However, it has been witnessed that most of Salman Khan's films which are released on Eid have crossed 100 crore mark.
Race 3 is now the sixth film to cross Rs 100-crore mark in 2018.
In spite of major reviews not in favour of the film - highlighting the poor screenplay, loose story and weak performances (but great action) - it has managed to pull audiences to the silver screen.
Salman Khan latest release "Race 3" has entered the 100-cr club in its opening weekend. However, the film that also starred Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, had a five-day weekend as opposed to Race 3's regular weekend. Race 3 made the most on Sunday - Rs 39.16 crore. As with his other Eid blockbusters like Kick, Dabangg and Bodyguard, the Khan fans seem to have poured in regardless of what critics have to say. One thing is for sure, it won't go to the levels of Tiger Zinda Hai.
Directed by Remo D'Souza, the next film in the Bollywood franchise Race 3 stars Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deo, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala.
"With Tubelight, it was probably a case of wrong timing". In the third week since release, Parmanu collected a total of Rs 60.05 crore.
However despite the slight dip, Race 3 is expected to close business on Monday Day 4 with collections between Rs. 14-15 cr.
