The Suspiria remake finally has a teaser trailer, and it is everything we could have asked for. This is Guadagnino's first film after the critically revered Call Me By Your Name past year, for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Director.
The original "Suspiria" told a grizzly tale of a dancer uncovering a supernatural conspiracy surrounding a series of vicious murders at a prestigious dance academy in Berlin. It stars Tilda Swinton, Dakota Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz, Mia Goth and Jessica Harper.
"A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe's artistic director, an ambitious young dancer, and a grieving psychotherapist", reads the Amazon Studios blurb.
Suspiria is set to hit theaters on November 2. Some will succumb to the nightmare.
The original 1977 version of Suspiria was directed by Dario Argento and is now considered a cult classic famous for its stylistic visuals and vivid use of color.
The film's music comes from Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, who's following in the soundtracking footsteps of his bandmate Johnny Greenwood. He is re-teaming with Johnson and Swinton, who both starred in his 2015 film A Bigger Splash.
