With the game not available on Google Play, it's highly recommended that you don't simply install any APKs from unknown sources. And not just after the initial download, but for every update as well? The message that pops up says that "Fortnite Battle Royal by Epic Games, Inc is not available on Google Play". That 30 percent revenue cut is the same for Google Play.

Epic Games confirmed that it would be coming to Android "this summer", but then it all went a bit quiet, leaving Android users scrambling for any info they could on when they might get their hands on it.

Epic has shared a few more details about the upcoming Android release of Fortnite.

Despite Epic having clarified its release plans for the game several times, some fans may still expect Fortnite Android to be available on Google Play.
