Aside from the expected story expansions, players will also get Assassin's Creed III Remastered. Discovery Tour: The educational tool that lets anyone explore the game in a conflict-free environment, will be available for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Learn more about the backstory of the Assassins and why they choose to fight from the shadows.
Legacy of the First Blade will introduce players to the first assassin to wield the hidden blade (hint: It was a caveman - just kidding). The Fate of Atlantis will have players "confront godly creatures and uncover the secrets of the legendary sunken city [of Atlantis]" beginning in Spring 2019. This story will start December 2018 with episodes being released approximately six weeks apart.
There's a catch though, it's cloud-based, and the announcement was only made on the Japanese version of the Nintendo Direct, meaning Assassin's Creed Odyssey Cloud Version is a Japan exclusive.
Assassin's Creed III was first released in 2012 and followed the half-English, half-Mohawk Connor (real name: Ratonhnhaké:ton - try saying that five times quickly) as he played a pivotal role in the American Revolution.
The last major, and most surprising, addition to the season pass is Assassin's Creed III Remastered, which fans will remember centers on the American Revolution. Even if you don't purchase the season pass, all Assassin's Creed Odyssey players will get access to free story content like the "Lost Tales of Greece" and timed in-game events. It will also be hosting a number of in-game events that everybody can participate in including daily quests and unique and challenging enemies. These quests will feature familiar faces and new characters. Daily and weekly contracts will send players on new quests across Greece. New Game Plus is also planned, with updates in the pipeline that will add mythical monsters to defeat, new challenges, and the ability to see how your various narrative choices impact the story.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is set to release on October 5 for PS4, XB1, and PC.
