Neymar is shown a yellow card for a dive against El Salvador.

Should Firmino miss out on tomorrow's Champions League clash then it will come as a significant blow to Liverpool as the Brazilian makes up one of the main focal points in Jurgen Klopp's high-octane attacking trident.

"I don't think he is a person who wants to act, because if you are like that you can not play the football he plays".

Chicken-dancing Neymar laughs in the face of football theatrics naysayers.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Roberto Firmino will need to be assessed further before he can be cleared to play against Paris Saint Germain.

Neymar is a hard man to tackle. "(But) if he will be fine for tomorrow, I don't know in the moment", Klopp said on Monday.

"That is a completely normal reaction because players were really going for him and he wants to protect himself and I understand that as well. I really thought it was a smart decision of PSG to sign Tuchel", said Klopp.

"I saw a few games at the World Cup when it looked like he made a bit more of the situation".

Centre-back Dejan Lovren is still nursing a pelvic issue that he picked up during the World Cup with Croatia and is expected to be back by the start of October.

"He obviously gets kicked a lot, so he needs to try and use it as best as he can".

Neymar was the second most fouled player behind Eden Hazard at the World Cup in Russian Federation in the summer despite accusations he made the most of any physical contact. We don't go for him.

"If Bobby can't play, Dom (Solanke) and Divock (Origi) can't, then we are short of options". It was a big relief for all of us.

"He got rested at the weekend so he will be 100 percent fresh, he's not injured any more". I'm pretty sure it's not.

"We don't go for [Neymar] we only want to play football".

Mohamed Salah may have only scored two goals this season, but the Egyptian has still been a constant threat for Liverpool as they have won their opening five Premier League matches, and Salah, who scored 10 goals in the Champions League last season, could adopt Firmino's role as the central striker.

Tuchel rested Kylian Mbappe and Neymar at the weekend, but it mattered little as the Parisians maintained their ideal Ligue 1 start with a 4-0 home win over Saint-Etienne.

The England worldwide said he had no problem with the selection choices made by Klopp. "We'll see the full package, the football package, and we have to cope with that".
