We have now spotted a new image on Weibo which seemingly shows a OnePlus phone battery packaging.

More recently, there is an invite, which was posted on Chinese social media site Weibo, which suggests the phone could be officially launched in India on October 17, though some tend to believe it could be October 21.

OnePlus 6T which is set to become the successor to OnePlus 6 is expected to get unveiled in India on October 17.

A lot of people weren't happy when OnePlus announced its next flagship, the OnePlus 6T would not have an audio jack.

The OnePlus 6T is expected to feature a 6.4-inch display with a built-in fingerprint sensor, and it may feature three cameras on the back.

OnePlus 6T - "Unlock The Speed" - advertisement is already running on TV featuring Amitabh Bachhan holding the phone.

Another interesting thing to note is that the OnePlus 6T is reported to be thicker at 8.2mm (8.6mm at the thickest point with the camera bump).

As you can see for yourself, there is no fingerprint sensor on the back which clearly tells that the device will, in fact, come with an in-screen scanner.

More details are likely to surface as we near its official launch. The new notch is comparable to the ones in the OPPO R17 and F9 series. If you're sick of notches that take up a significant amount of screen real estate, the OnePlus 6T might be one to consider - assuming, of course, that these leaks and rumors are correct when it comes to design.

"OnePlus 6T India Launch Date Confirmed: Everything We Know So Far", 5 out of 5 based on 3 ratings. Considering the minor price bump compared to the predecessor OnePlus 6, the OnePlus 6T would pack worthy upgrades. Surprisingly, instead of having a triple camera setup like the new OPPO R17 Pro, the OnePlus 6T is still having a dual-camera setup and it shares the same camera bump as the current OnePlus 6.

In India, the OnePlus 6T will be available exclusively via e-commerce portal Amazon India. Under the hood sits a 2.8GHz Snapdragon 845 CPU and an Adreno 630 GPU, with the option to choose between 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB and 128GB storage models.
