Wedding watchers thought Princess Eugenie would wear the tiara that her mum wore for her wedding to Prince Andrew.

It would make sense that her daughters would feel protective of her walking into the church alone.

The 28-year-old Eugenie met her husband eight years ago on a ski trip in the Swiss Alps. It's not a crime to want to look flawless for your big day, but the very notion can be overwhelming, and even harmful sometimes.

He said: "We're good family friends, I was meant to be going to the wedding but I'm in Australia so I couldn't, so, of course, I've got my priorities right!"

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have released four new photos marking their wedding yesterday, including a photo taken shortly before their evening reception Friday night at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Jan Lehovsky, a spinal surgeon who was part of the team who operated on the princess, said, "Most of the patients affected by scoliosis are young girls and she's a real role model for them".

And not only did she change up her outfits, but Princess Eugenie also let her hair down for the evening event. They have dated for seven years. "Whether it's rain or sunshine, I have to come down and support her majesty".

Fergie also spoke about her connection to her ex-husband in the same interview. I felt so handsome, so comfortable.

And! The couple opted to extend their celebration into Saturday, unlike Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. "I was here for Harry and Meghan's wedding, I wouldn't miss it, I love the atmosphere".

Eugenie's mother - Sarah, Duchess of York - is standing next to a seated Duke of Edinburgh, and both are smiling for the camera. Originally made for society host Margaret Greville in 1919, its style reflects that of the Russian Imperial court, according to the royal family's website.

Princess Beatrice definitely took notice of how significant this day was to her parents, but especially her mom.

Eugenie's elder sister Princess Beatrice, the maid of honour, read a passage from the The Great Gatsby describing the smile of the title character, a rich man famed for throwing parties for the 1920s NY glitterati.

She and Andrew certainly appeared to be "such a unit together", at their beloved Eugenie's wedding.
