Henrikh Mkhitaryan Starts - Arsenal Team vs Fulham Confirmed

A rampant Arsenal side mauled newly-promoted Fulham 5-1 at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

The Gunners produced some wonderful football for the thumping victory.

Unai Emergy's side were leading 2-1 when the Spanish coach turned to the Gabon global and teammate Aaron Ramsey off the bench midway through the second half, with two goals from Alexandre Lacazette coming either side of Andre Schurrle's strike.

Aaron Ramsey, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has dropped to the bench in place of Alex Iwobi, who impressed as a substitute in the 2-0 win over Watford last weekend.

"We played very well, but we knew that Fulham play good football and would try to hit us on the counter-attack", the Gabon worldwide told BT Sport.

"To show our quality and work, then together we can be happy like today". We are happy but also calm, we know it's hard in each match. We need them to support us. We played on Thursday and the travel is very long but we won like that.

While Arsenal are improved, they have been aided by a soft fixture list in recent weeks and even Emery demurred when asked if his team are now title contenders.

We lost the first two games against Manchester City and Chelsea, we were calm.

"I don't want to look back". When we're winning now we need to be the same way in our mentality: calm, hard-working, enjoying working, failing together, sharing a feeling with our supporters. Every match is different.

Any hope of another Fulham comeback was quelled with 23 minutes left, as Ramsey, 39 seconds after coming on, flicked a backheel in off the post after a super counter-attack gave Aubameyang room to cross.

However, Lacazette restored Arsenal's advantage four minutes into the second half as his 25-yard effort found its way past Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli. "We opened all the doors and they finished easily", Jokanovic said.

'We're showing so many weaknesses for the level we are at at the moment, defensively. They are just two points above the bottom three, too.
