No wonder, therefore, that the Pro version of the Huawei Mate 20 cost a small fortune, in line with the prices of a Samsung - while staying away from Apple and 1659 euros of the iPhone XS Max with 512 Gb of storage.
Premiere smartphone the Huawei Mate Mate 20 and 20 Pro on 16 October. The company is making a gaming smartphone, as it seems from the teaser snap. There have been leaks for both of those handsets, but this is the first mention of a Mate 20X model. Obviously, we will only know for sure once the Mate 20 hits the market as well. That is, until now. The launch event will be held in London, while the Kirin 980 was unveiled in Berlin at the IFA consumer electronics show earlier this year.
Anyone interested in the Mate 20 Pro or a gaming phone built by Huawei? Just recently Huawei's latest device could be seen on Weibo and Antutu, meaning that we have stumbled upon some new images which show us some of its characteristics. One of the main differences is the notch. That is probably because the Mate 20 does not come with any sensors on the front for 3D face sensing. Meanwhile, the standard Mate 20 is listed at 799SFr which translates to roughly $332 United States dollars. However, the colours will not affect the pricing as the Mate 20 will be priced at CHF799 (RM3342.66), Mate 20 Lite at CHF329 (RM1376.39) and Mate 20 Pro will be priced at CHF999 (RM4179.37).
And Huawei Mate 20 Pro sports a glass back that is also curved at the edges. This is the second time we've seen this shade so it's likely coming. Huawei have somehow kept the existence of this phone a secret, but it's a secret no more. The Antutu result posted on Weibo confirms the Huawei Mate 20 comfortably crossing the 300,000 mark for overall performance (the CPU, GPU, and memory scores are also provided in the image below). We will be presented with the entire specification sheet only after the official launch.
