No-one has won the Mega Millions since July

- There were no jackpot winners in Friday night's Mega Millions drawing that reached $1 billion.

The Mega Millions winning numbers from Friday were 15, 23, 53, 65, and 70 with a gold Mega Ball of 7.

The previous record Mega Millions jackpot was 656 million dollars, which was shared by winners in three USA states in March 2012. The Powerball record jackpot was $1.586 billion, split between three winning tickets.

The victor can opt for an immediate cash payment of $565.6 million or receive the $1 billion prize over 29 years.

Because no Mega Millions winners emerged, the next scheduled drawing on Tuesday was projected to be worth a record $1.6 billion.
