No Mega Millions ticket had all six winning numbers in Tuesday night's drawing for what was a $667 million top prize.
The winning numbers are 3-45-49-61-69 with a Mega Ball of 9.
The next drawing is Friday, Oct. 19 with an estimated worth of $868 million. Friday's sum will be the third largest in the game's history and the second largest in the USA lottery jackpot history.
The last time Mega Millions had a jackpot victor was July 24th.
It costs $2 to play the games, but the odds of winning the jackpots aren't good.
Although the Mega Millions prize has grown larger, the odds of winning remain the same at one in 302.5 million.
Lottery tickets are sold at US$2 each in kiosks, supermarkets and gas stations in 44 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands.
It smashed the previous record, a $656 million jackpot that was split three ways in 2012.
Stay with the WRCB app to see if you'll ever have to work again. The estimated jackpot for that drawing would be the second-largest lottery prize in US history.
The immediate cash value of the Mega Millions prize, which winners can opt to take, is US$494.5 million.
The jackpot had swelled because nobody has won since July 24.
If someone were to win both lotteries the cash option would total $571,000,000.
There may not have been a big victor Tuesday night, but there were more than four million winning tickets at different prize levels.
