Cristiano Ronaldo is confident he will be cleared of an allegation of rape, with the Juventus forward pledging to keep smiling and enjoying his life ahead of facing former club Manchester United.

According to a UK Sun report, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police in the USA have commenced investigation after 34-year-old Kathryn Mayorga, alleged the footballer star forcefully, had carnal knowledge of her in 2009.

Ronaldo denied the allegation in a public statement on October 3, saying that he refused to "feed the media..."

Cristiano Ronaldo is returning to Manchester United for the second time in his career but it's unlikely that Jose Mourinho will call upon the same psychological tricks Sir Alex Ferguson used when they reunited at Old Trafford almost six years ago.

"I always smile, I'm blessed, I play at a fantastic club, I have a fantastic family, I'm healthy, I have everything. They are a fantastic team, they have an experienced coach but I expect and hope Juventus win the game". So, I am glad. of course, I'm not going to lie on this situation.

"I am a happy man", he told reporters. Of course, the truth is always coming in the first position.

Ronaldo was evidently moved by the reception he had received and struggled to get the better of Rafael until United went a man down.

"I know all about the history, I won trophies here".

"It's going to take time obviously to be where we want to be but in the last two games we have proved that we can play and we can press forward and we have players to make the difference, and now the work that we're doing behind the scenes has to be moving into this".

Ronaldo said. "It is special for me to return to Manchester. However, we can't underestimate our opponents".

Such a tradition has been in place for many years, having been implemented by Sir Alex Ferguson. Here I still think my teamwork between myself and my teammates can improve and be much better.

He became a brand ambassador for Jacob&Co back in 2013 while at Real Madrid and is now showing off one of their most expensive assets from the collection.

Jesse Lingard, Diogo Dalot and Marouane Fellaini were also absent from the session, as the club prepare for the biggest game in their Champions League campaign so far.
