Last year, Google had announced the Pixel 2 (review) and Pixel 2 XL (review) on October 4 and the two smartphones were made available for pre-order in India on October 26. Those that are out of warranty, the app will give an estimated value of the amount charged for the fix.
Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL should introduce some decent upgrades to the Pixel line, though I am not expecting any major innovations from Google this year. There is no information on the exact size of the screen and resolution of the Pixel Slate.
Search engine and technology giant Google is gearing up to launch the third generation Pixel smartphones on October 9.
Finally, Google will officially launch the device tomorrow and clear up all the rumors that have been building up. It is also possible that at the presentation we will show the extension of the range of smart speakers that Google pays too much attention. Both devices are expected to feature a more current display design with slim bezels and rounded corners.
Reportedly, Google Pixel Slate comes with a larger display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a rear camera on one of the top corners and a selfies camera on top of the front side.
However, Engadget citing some system apps suggest that the upcoming Pixel phone could run Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. The bigger notch could be due to a dual camera module on the front, details of which are still unknown. Also, we might see a new version of the their Chromecast digital media player and even a Chrome OS tablet. There's also speculation around it having 16GB of RAM and an Intel i7 processor.
After all the leaks, it's not surprising to know that Google will also reveal a new Chromecast dongle just like previous year. One of the differences, that can be seen in the leaked images itself, is the Apple iPhone X-like notch which will be seen for the first time on any Pixel device. It's not clear whether Google is including other improvements in the updated Chromecast, so we will just have to wait till tomorrow to find out.
