Bears-Vikings game moved to primetime

NFL flexes Vikings at Bears to Sunday night in Week 11; two other game times get changed

This will be the first time the Bears wear their orange jerseys in a primetime game.

The Bears-Vikings game at Soldier Field on November 18 has been flexed to primtetime. It will now be 7:20 p.m. CST.

The Bears opened the season with back to back prime time games; the heartbreaking season-opening loss to the Packers at Lambeau Field followed by the Week 2 Monday Night Football win over the Seattle Seahawks. The Bears sit on top of the NFC North with a 5-3 record. The Bears now lead the division with a 5-3 record while the 5-3-1 Vikings head to a BYE week.

"When we first got here we talked about how fortunate we were - I'm talking about myself with the team, how fortunate we were to have two prime-time games to start the year", Nagy said.

Chicago lost 24-23 at Green Bay in its lone Sunday Night Football matchup back in Week 1. The Bears will have a quick turnaround after their late-night finish - they play a midday game on Thanksgiving Day in Detroit four days later.

The NFL has made a few changes to its Week 11 schedule. The Steelers at Jaguars game moves to a Noon Central kickoff.
