It had been rumoured that the new Overwatch character - hero 29 - was going to be the Junker Queen.
In the latest Overwatch short, McCree meets up with the old Deadlock Gang, Athena the robot, and the newest playable character - Ashe. In it he meets up with his old compadres, the Deadlock Gang, led by Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe.
Blizzard revealed Ashe at BlizzCon on Friday, a shotgun-toting, dynamite-tossing, rifle-shooting outlaw who used to be friends with McCree.
The Overwatch Twitter tweeted the short alongside the message: "An explosive train robbery gives McCree the chance to settle some unfinished business with a few former associates". Her semi automatic rifle is called the Viper and players can either use the scope for more accurate shots or without the scope for faster ones. Echo, a robotic member of Overwatch that had been "turned-off" for quite some time, was locked inside the mysterious container McCree and Ashe were fighting over. Blizzard didn't give a release date but she should be available within the month. She can call down a giant robot named B.O.B whenever she's ready to use her ultimate. Dynamite, another one of Ashe's skills, sends out a bundle of explosions that go off when the fuse burns out, but you can also shoot it to make it go off early.
"Ashe summons her trusted omnic sidekick, B.O.B., who charges forward and knocks enemies into the air, then lays down suppressing fire with his arm cannons".
