Report Dez Bryant helped off the practice field with injury

Report Dez Bryant helped off the practice field with injury Dez Bryant participated in his first practice as a Saint on Thursday

On the Saints' end, the team was in some serious need of wide receiver depth when they added Bryant and now they're back at square one.

An MRI confirmed Saturday that the Saints receiver ruptured his Achillies when he was injured at practice on Friday, according to reports.

Several other plays who have never played with Bryant also sent out tweets.

In one of the veteran wideout's first days on the practice field with his new team, he suffered an injury which may have ended his season before it even started.

At 30 years old, he was already declining physically. "Wanting to play football, thinking about playing football".

Last season was Bryant's best since he caught 88 passes for 1,320 yards and 16 TDs in 2014, which at the time was his third consecutive season with at least 1,200 yards receiving.

But with his recent injury, that is now unclear. I've always been a good guy.

Payton said he spoke to Bryant before the draft and any interest was put on hold when the team drafted Tre'Quan Smith. It's like family. Every locker room that I've been in from middle school, high school, college to the pros, it's always been like a family. "It's more than just being in the locker room, it's outside of it too". The Saints listed Bryant as questionable for Sunday's game.
