Sitting down on Heart Breakfast radio talk show, on which Emma Bunton is a co-host, the girls had nothing but lovely things to say about their missing bandmate.

British pop band the Spice Girls joked on Wednesday about their plans for a new album after announcing they would reunite for a United Kingdom tour next year but said it would feel unusual performing without "Posh Spice" Victoria Beckham.

Horner, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm gave their first interview as a group to the DJ, with Emma Bunton speaking on the phone from her own rival show.

Now you can join in the fun with Baby, Sporty, Ginger and Scary in this special one-off podcast - listen in the player below. All five returned for a reunion tour in 2007 and a performance at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.

"We should though", chipped in a mischievous Mel B.

The Hello singer took to Instagram on Monday to share her excitement about the Spice Girls' highly anticipated 2019 tour.

Yesterday, Mel C, Mel B, Emma and Geri appeared in a minute-long clip to announce that tickets were going on sale from Saturday at 10.30am.

And on BBC Radio 2 earlier, she also said "No, it's not!" when Chris Evans said the group's Wembley Stadium gig on 15 June would be their last show.

The first Q: Which Spice Girl was once sick in Mel B's mouth?

"This is not my job, this is my life and my girls".

Later Chris attempted to ask Geri how she managed to persuaide Mel C to get on board for the reunion, and began his questioning: 'I know you inside out...' Actually I don't need the money.

"There were times I wasn't sure about doing it", she admitted.
